Without them, there would be no one producing visual journalism worth a spit in this country. The commercial broadcast and cable networks’ efforts these days are weak to say the least, so it’s so refreshing to have a resource like Frontline on the job out there actually covering and presenting real news, in real perspective and in real time.

I have been combing the Frontline video archive online for sometime now and can say with no reservations that as good as everything they’ve done in the past is, this new online resource and look at the debacle in Iraq is by far their best work to date.

Frontline “gets it” when it comes to how to use the web to support news gathering. I wish others would follow suit. This country needs more real news.
