Hi folks like the new look but echo earlier comment about lack of social sharing buttons/function. Also even more critical, a search function. I want to update links from several of your old but great posts and can't find them. And of course neither can Google. After all, you are the "Online" JR, right?

PS: Some of us would love to subscribe by email to increase your circulation, reach, influence, credibility...

Looks good, but, really ... you relaunched OJR without adding basic social sharing buttons to your posts so they can be distributed and talked about on the standard social networks?

And your about page? Your contact page? Am I an inept navigator or are they truly absent from your site?

Big fan of the content of the OJR, but there are other components of a successful news site (or a review of the state-of-the-news site) besides the articles themselves.

I look forward to the next reboot of OJR, when I'm confident it will not so readily replicate the seeming contempt for standard website information architecture, usability and social media integration typically shown by newspapers fumbling toward an online presence.

By the way, the above is a resubmission of my comment made three days ago. I'm not sure if it made it into the moderation queue because when I posted the comment I got no system message indicating it was received ... another improvement tweak. :)
