Via I Want Media: Time Magazine named Power Line the Blog of the Year in recognition of its achievement in discrediting CBS?s report on President Bush? National Guard service, reports the New York Daily News. The blog relied partially on readers? contributions to expose the false nature of documents that 60 Minutes used to verify its story. ?This is the year that the predictions the Internet was going to be an important political medium finally came true,? said John Hinderaker, Power Line?s founder.
