UK journalists' union provides freelance pay guidelines online

The site will establish freelance rates and also define copyright, fair use and reproduction guidelines. The material on the Web site will include advice on tax, negotiating money and securing commissions. It will list minimum rates for work across all media, including online. The information is available only online, though a downloadable format will be included. The site specifically includes suggestions for photographers who use digital media.
