Registration open for J-Lab workshop on 'citizens media'
J-Lab: The Institute for Interactive Journalism is hosting a one-day "citizens media summit" on October 24. The workshop will offer panels featuring citizen media editors from sites including Backfence.com, the Rocky Mountain News' YourHub.com and NorthwestVoice.com. Registration for the conference, which will be held at the University of Maryland, is $100 and is limited to 60 participants.
