Haley Poland

A first-year graduate student in print journalism at USC Annenberg, Haley graduated from Colgate University in 2004 where she studied anthropology and biology. She is originally from Glens Falls, NY.

In the future, Haley hopes to work as both a science journalist and an advocacy journalist in the fields of medicine and social justice. She is particularly interested in the idea of health as a human right and came to journalism in the hopes of bringing greater and more contextual news coverage to the topic.
