MEMBER PROFILE
Michael AlexNew York, New YorkCurrently consulting to a number of new-media outlets, I'm best known as the founder of MTVNews.com. MTV News was the first programming division within MTV to go digital (1995), and over a 12 year period MTV News moved from a television journalism department with a website, to a platform agnostic news organization whose primary connection to its audience was online. I left as Vice President, MTV News Digital. My career began as an associate producer for local news channels in Baltimore and New York...before taking MTV News digital I was a reporter/producer there for several years, with my last television role being Supervising Producer.
