Ari Soglin
Ari Soglin is Patch.com's senior regional editor for Northern California.
A full-time journalist since 1983, Ari was a newspaper reporter and editor for 16 years before moving to the online side of the business. He became the Contra Costa Times' online editor in 1999 and later was the founding editor of GetLocalNews.com, one of the first online community news and citizen journalism networks. He also wrote the blog Citizen Paine on citizen journalism. After another stint running newspaper web sites – ContraCostaTimes.com and InsideBayArea.com – he joined Patch in 2009.
