I am Managing Editor of the Vancouver Sun, responsible for day-to-day operations of the print and digital newsroom at western Canada's largest media organization. I am an adjunct professor at the graduate school of journalism at University of British Columbia. I have been a writer, editor and broadcaster. My managerial experience includes overseeing CTV News, helping to start the National Post newspaper, editing The Hamilton Spectator, running Southam News, hosting on CBC Newsworld, and managing the Ottawa bureau of The Canadian Press.
