Peter Schumacher

Peter Schumacher is a researcher at the department of Media Studies at the University of Trier, Germany. His main areas of research are usability of online media, multimedia journalism and infographics. From 2001 to 2003 he worked as a political journalist with the online edition of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, FAZ.NET. He studied journalism in Eichstaett/Germany and Bogotá/Colombia. During that time he worked as a freelance journalist for Sueddeutsche Zeitung, Frankfurter Rundschau, tageszeitung and El Espectador/Bogotá.
