I'm a veteran newspaper journalist who has for the past five years managed a Computer-Assisted Research and Reporting (CARR) program at The Heritage Foundation in the nation's capitol. The purpose of the CARR program is to empower journalists to make independent assessments of data claims on public policy issues. I am also proprietor of Tapscott's Copy Desk, a blog on which I comment on the evolving impact of the Internet on media and government.
