There is immense value in going web-only in high school. My high school newspaper, the Grizzly Gazette (grizzlygazette.net) made the big leap long ago, when I was still a freshman there (now a sophomore at Cal Poly). It was amazing to get my start with the web because when I got to college, I had a leg up on everyone else and the print aspect came so naturally after knowing the web. We had a huge amount of readers and interaction with students and faculty. I definitely believe web is the way to go for high schools.
